Out-of-Network

Don’t see your insurance? We can provide superbills for you to submit to your carrier for possible reimbursement under your out-of-network benefits.

Self-Pay

Private pay rates are available for patients without insurance or who prefer to pay directly. Current rates are shared at booking and visible in your patient portal before your appointment.

What to expect when it comes to payment.

Billing is handled through the patient portal, the same place you book appointments and message between visits. Most of it is automated — the goal is to keep paperwork out of the way of care.

For insurance patients: we verify benefits before your first appointment when possible. Copays, deductibles, and any coinsurance will follow your specific plan. After each visit, claims are submitted to your insurance, and any patient responsibility is billed through the portal.

For self-pay patients: rates are shared at booking. Payment is collected at the time of service through the patient portal. Receipts are available for HSA/FSA reimbursement or for submitting to insurance yourself if you’d like to pursue out-of-network reimbursement.

Cancellations and no-shows: appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed entirely, may be charged a fee. The exact policy is in your patient portal and discussed before your first visit.

No surprise billing. Costs are shared transparently before treatment, not after.

Before you book, the things people usually want to know about cost.

How do I know what my visit will cost before I book?
For self-pay, exact rates are shared at the time of booking. For insurance, your specific copay or coinsurance depends on your plan; we recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card to ask about your behavioral health benefits, including any deductible, copay, or visit limits.
What if my insurance requires a referral?
Most plans don’t require a referral for psychiatric care, but a few HMO plans do. Check with your insurance to see if a referral from your primary care provider is needed before your first visit.
Do you offer a sliding scale?
This practice does not offer a formal sliding scale, but transparent self-pay rates are available and may be more affordable than expected. If cost is a barrier, we encourage you to reach out and we’ll help you understand your options.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes. Receipts for HSA/FSA reimbursement are available through your patient portal after each visit.
What if I lose my insurance during treatment?
If your coverage changes during care, let us know. We’ll discuss your options — transitioning to self-pay, helping you find a different in-network provider, or pausing care while you sort out coverage. The goal is to keep your treatment from being disrupted by insurance transitions when possible.
Are telehealth visits covered the same as in-person?
For most major insurance plans in Ohio, yes — telehealth psychiatric visits are typically covered the same as in-person visits. If you have questions about your specific plan’s coverage of telehealth, we recommend calling member services to verify.

Ready when you are.
